Labour Market Information

Double-sided photocopier, laser printer, 11x17" colour printer, scanner, telephone and fax machine for public use

Application Forms for Employment Insurance, Record of Employment, Income Security Programs, Old Age Security, Social Insurance Numbers, Birth Certificates, and other related documents

Information Brochures and Pamphlets from government departments and the private sector

Your choice of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation graphics programs of Microsoft Office, Corel Word Perfect Suite, plus Corel Draw graphics application, learn-to-type software, and WinWay Resume program

Rental of computer lab or meeting room equipped with large table, TV (with laptop computer hook-up), VCR, overhead projector, white board, and flip chart for in-house presentations and workshops

Hands-on computer courses and training workshops offered several times throughout the year

Small Business information, advice, and referrals for aspiring entrepreneurs

Course Calendars from most universities and colleges in Ontario, plus free literature and advice on how to succeed at college or university

Free Information Sessions on How To Get A Job (career exploration, resume creation, cover letter writing, interview techniques, and job search advice)

Access to Distance Education & Training courses to upgrade your skills and promote career development
